Project Name: San Timoteo Creek, Reach 3B
Location: San Bernardino County
Description: Project consisted of clearing and grubbing of a 40 Acres area in Riparian habitats and Upland native habitats. A restricted time frame was assigned for the performance due to environmental restrictions. Contract Amount: $447,682.00

Project Name: Construct Head At Parade Deck
Location: MCRD Base, San Diego
Description: Remodeled existing head including all interior demolition, new underground utilities installation and completely new tile, toilet and plumbing fixtures, countertops, partitions and electrical work. Constructed adjacent new ladies head to match existing building renovated. Graded area, installed underground utilities, placed concrete footers and slab on grade, erected block walls, framed wood trusses type roof with clay tile roof. Stucco finish and all interior finish as well.
Contract Amount: $252,320.00
Comments: " Project completed within schedule and budget. Customer highly satisfied. Marcon Engineering accommodated activities as required by the base and the area where the work was being performed. Military ceremonies were constantly performed next to our area of work."
Project Name: San Timoteo Creek, Channel Improvements
Location: San Bernardino County, CA
Description: Built 2,050 LF parapet wall & 2,084 LF steel fence along the San Timoteo Creek in Redlands, CA. Constructed a 20 ' wide by 400 ' long asphalt road along the San Timoteo Creek Channel.
Contract Amount: $439,000.00
Comments: " Work was performed during the summer season, under extreme high temperatures affecting curing conditions on the concrete structure. Marcon Engineering crew did an excellent job on handling this situation."
Project Name: Loading Dock Extension, Bldg. 3304
Location: DLA/DDDC Security Depot, Naval Station, San Diego
Description: Removed existing AC in area of new loading dock, constructed 8" parapet wall on perimeter of expanded loading dock, installed 8" slab, replacement of loading dock leveler, installation of new canopy, bollards and dock lights.
Contract Amount: $293,750.00
Project Name: Culvert Modifications at Ballona Creek
Flood Control Channel
Location: Marina del Rey, California
Description: Demolished existing gates/ concrete. Installed structural concrete footers and headwall. Installed new SRTs. Grouted stone and associated site improvements

Comments: "Work performed in a natural preserved area under several environmental restrictions."

Location: Weir Canyon Road to Gypsum Road
Description: Santa Ana River bank stabilization, sheet pile installation, water diversion, rip rap and grout, road construction, retaining wall, chain link fence, culvert installation and environmental devices installation.

Project Name: Install Hangar Floors, Bldg. 460
Location: NAVAIR, North Island, San Diego
Description: This project consisted of removing the existing flooring coating system by bead blasting. Lead abatement. Removing old expansion joint material by saw cutting. Saw cutting end/ blend lines. Appling a ¼" polymeric epoxy flooring system. After many change orders the approximate area of polymeric epoxy flooring applied was 116,503 SF. Along with the flooring Marcon Engineering performed some remodeling work including drywall, electrical, HVAC, structural and painting.
Contract Amount: $1,350,528.00
Comments: "Customer highly satisfied with the product and the immediate response from Marcon Engineering kept on extending the contract by adding more floor areas to be coated."

Project Name: Construct Blast Wall, Main Gate
Location: MCB, Camp Pendleton
Description: Construction of 120 LF x 17 ' tall retaining (blast) wall, grading for roadway and landscaping, surfacing, paving, storm drainage, traffic barrier, lightning and fencing.
Contract Amount: $ 480,323.00
Comments: "Worked under scheduled hours for noise restrictions and close supervision from the customer. Obtained an outstanding evaluation from the customer and Marcon Engineering received a Safety Award from the Department of the Navy ROICC"
Project Name: Handicap Ramp, Bldg 10
Location: MCRD Base, San Diego
Description: Construction of handicap ramp, steel handrail with stainless steel cables and landscaping
Contract Amount: $157,683.00
Comments: "Worked performed in a very short schedule, Ramp for ATM needed before the holiday seasons due to the high demand"
Project Name : Construct Laundry, janitor 's closet,
restroom additions at CDC
Location: Bldg. 3435, Naval Station, San Diego
Description: Design and Construction of a restroom facility, laundry and Janitor 's closet, including site preparation, foundation, new additions to existing structure, building systems, equipment, finishes, fixtures and all utility services.
Contract Amount: $167,051.00
Comments: "Construction performed next to a child development center, safety was as always our #1 priority. We work closely with the customer to coordinate activities that produced high levels of noise to prevent from disturbing the infants"

Project Name: Construct VA Loading Dock Enclosure
Location: VA San Diego Healthcare Center
Description: Demolished existing loading dock, elevated old dock area of 17,000 SF, installed 5 new power electric dock levelers. Constructed one interior office and restroom. Handrail and fencing work
Contract Amount: $1,030,974.00
Comments: "Excellent coordination of activities to prevent disruption with the daily loading dock activity and noise control to avoid disturbing the patients at the Hospital."
Project Name: Install Grease Interceptor
Location: VA San Diego Healthcare Center
Description: Installed 2ea. 6,000 gallon concrete tanks, 26 feet below finish grade. Installation of underground waste/grease lines, horizontal boring for a 6´ grease line, hydraulic shoring for the pipe trench and shoring system for the 56´ long by 26´ deep grease tank pits. Worked under confined spaces. Repaired and replaced 33,000 SF of AC Parking lot.
Contract Amount: $504,354.00
Comments: " Most of the work was performed at night. A portion of the work was performed inside the kitchen area under strict restrictions and conditions. Dust control and asbestos removal was one of our most important priorities in order to preserve the health and safety of patients and hospital employees."
Project Name: Parking Lot and Road Maintenance
Location: VA San Diego Healthcare Center
Description: Work included saw cutting of parking lots and roads; excavation of existing concrete curb; construction of new reinforced concrete cross gutter; removal of existing asphalt concrete beams; relocation of existing light poles; removal and re-installation of existing wheel stops and application of new paint on curbs.
